Limited Edition reissue of this classic 1972 album comes housed in a mini LP sleeve featuring the original album artwork. This remains Bowie's most influential album, and is still considered on of the greatest albums of the Rock generation. 11 tracks including 'Moonage Daydream', 'Star', 'Suffragette City' and, of course, 'Ziggy Stardust'.Japanese pressing distriibuted for a limited time in Europe with new UPC number. EMI. 2007.

最近コマーシャルで使われて、懐かしくなり聞いてみた。
２０年ぶりに聞いてみた！なんてこった！カッコ良すぎ！
古いよ！確かに古いかも知れない。なんてたって３０年前だもの。
けど３８分強の短い時間ノンストップのカッコ良さ！！！

ボウイというと押しつぶしたような低い声を想像する人が
多いかもしれないけど、これは違う。ぶっ飛んじゃうぞ！

決して聞き飽きない、聞けば聞くほどハマるはず！
あなたもあのリズムに酔いしれてネ。

グラムロックが好きな人はもちろんおすすめ、ＮＭＥで二十世紀もっともアーティストに影響を与えたアーティストとして選ばれた、BOWIEの名盤です。30年近くたった今聞いても新鮮に聞こえます。

デビッド・ボウイは、何といってもこのジギー・スターダストでしょう。
ロック音楽に、詩的あるいは演劇的な要素を持ち込み、ロック音楽の世界を飛躍させた、ボウイの傑作アルバムであり、ロックの一つの頂点でもあるといえるでしょう。

この頃、ボウイとコンビを組んでいたスパイダーズ・フロム・マースのミック・ロンソンのギターも秀逸で、サウンド、コンセプトがブリティッシュな香りがします。英国の古いシアターを連想させます。

４曲目のスターマンは、シングルカットされヒットしましたが、このアルバムの構成で聞くと一段と深みが増します。７０年代ロックの名盤です。是非、味わってほしいと思います。
