　サントラです。サントラですから、ある程度の主体性があってもいいようなもんですが、全くありません。曲のジャンルなんてバラバラです。いきなりフランス語だったりしてますし、途中でボーカルが「止めた」って唄うのを止めてしまったりしてます（笑）

　でも・・・実はこういった部分がセックスピストルズなんです。こういった自分達のやり方を貫き通して結果として２年と継続しなかったバンドなんです。だから伝説なんです。日本の「パンクロック」と言うジャンルが好きな中高生には是非聞いて欲しい。愛だ恋だ・・・そんなくだらんことはパンクじゃどうでもいい。この主体性の無さ・・・感激してください。ちなみに主体性の無さは彼らの当時のマネージャーである「マルコム・マクラーレン」氏がわざとそうしてるってこともわかってもらえると思います。

｢勝手にしやがれ｣だけじゃ物足りん、ピストルズをガンガンに聴きまくりたいぃぃっ！という人はコレを買って損はない！
映画を見ておけば一層楽しめるけど、見てない人でも完全に奴らのペースに引きずり込まれてしまうでしょう。

カヴァー曲もいろいろ入ってますが（シドのヤケクソなボーカルも必聴）、ピストルズは誰の曲をやっても、元ネタが全くわからないぐらいに、完全に彼らの曲にしてしまう！
もう「曲」というより「ノリと雑音」ってぐらいに壊れまくっててめちゃくちゃなんだけど、それでこそピストルズ！(笑)

でもファンとしては、このサントラといい映画といい、聴くと妙な虚しさと悲しさがこみ上げてきてしまう。マルコム・マクラーレンのあやつり人形にはならねえ！ともがいているよう!な、そんな姿が思わず浮かんでしまうんです･･･。それ自体を皮肉って笑ってやる！って勢いもまた泣けてしまったり。

ジョニー･ロットンは繊細すぎたしシドは死ぬのが早すぎた！そんな気持ちをぶつけながら爆音で聴くのもよし、かな？

同名映画のサントラ。サントラですので、バラエティ豊かな内容になっています。ジョニー・ロットン以外のヴォーカル曲でも、良いのが結構あります。その中でもオススメは、何と云ってもシド・ヴィシャス！　彼が唄う、「サムシング・エルス」、「カモン・エヴリバディ」、「マイ・ウェイ」、この3曲は必聴ですよ！
