アイアンメイデンにとって初のフルレンスのライブアルバムです。

メイデン＝ライブバンドであることを裏付けるかのように、アルバムの冒頭から、ヘヴィなリズムをバックに、ツインギターがハモり、ボーカルがシャウトする、これぞＨＭというべきサウンドを聴かせてくれます。とりわけ1~4の流れはいつ聞いても鳥肌物の格好良さです。収録曲は、「魔力の刻印」以降にウェイトが置かれていますが、人気曲ばかりですので、初期メイデンのベスト盤的な聴き方もできると思います。
メイデンが最もメイデンらしかった荒々しい時期のスピード、アグレッションを体現できる強力なライブアルバムであり、多くのメタルファンに聴いて欲しいライブアルバムです。

チャーチルの演説から「撃墜王の孤独」、「悪魔の最終兵器」になだれ込む冒頭部。ここを聴くためだけに買っても損はない。メイデンのライブは何枚も出ていて、後期の作品になればなるほど独特の崩し方で演奏している事例も多いが、「死霊復活」はかなり原曲に忠実。初期のベスト盤として聴ける。「プローラー」「キラーズ」など１枚目、２枚目の名曲が漏れているのは残念だが、愛嬌としよう。STRONG BUY.

ヘヴィ・メタルミュージックの代表的なバンドであるアイアン・メイデンのライブ・アルバムです．以前はＣＤではディスク１の楽曲が収録されていて、ディスク２の楽曲は聴くことができませんでしたが、今回からは2枚組になったことで全ての楽曲がこのアルバムで楽しめます．

とにかく素晴らしいライブ・アルバムです．楽曲、パフォーマンス共に最高レベルであり、ヘヴィ・メタルだけでなく音楽史上に残るライブ・アルバムだと思います．特に日本のファンの間で人気が高いエイスズ・ハイ（撃墜王の孤独）がライブ・アルバムで聴くことができるのは恐らくこのアルバムだけだと思います．個人的にはヘヴィ・メタルのライブ・アルバムでは本作とスレイヤーのディケイド・オブ・アグレッションが最も気に入っています．本当に良いです．ぜひ一度チェックしてみてください．
