今、アウトキャスト等の活躍で注目されてる南部出身ヒップホップですが、その元祖はこのスピーチ率いるアレステッドディベロプメントです。AD解散後に彼が出したソロアルバム第２段。アーティストとしてのスピーチの魅力を知るには１ｓｔの「Speech」がお勧めですが、「人間」としてのスピーチの魅力を知るにはこのアルバムが一番。なにしろあったかい。幸せな気分になります。

曲のテンポもクオリティも均一で、淡々と聴き進められる。
ゆったりした心地よいＲ＆Ｂとしては、とりあえず合格点だろう。
爽やかで、ポジティブな気分を保てる。

ただ、スピーチは、ＪＯＤＥＣＩやボーイズIIメンほどの歌唱力があるというわけではない。
どことなくアマチュアイズムが残る歌手なので、一旦そこが気になってしまうと不満も出てくる。
とくにこのアルバムでは、ゲストやバックコーラスも少なく、とにかくスピーチが一人で歌い切ろうとしている傾向が強いので、楽曲は無難で安泰だが、しびれるような歌の上手さを求める聴き方には堪えられないきらいはある。

もちろん、トータルではまとまりが良く、なごみと快適さのほうが上回る。
