ブロンディにはまっていたのは高校時代でしたが、このアルバムで20数年ぶりに聞くと懐かしさと同時にすごく元気になりました。ベストだけあってこのアルバムの殆どの曲が大好きですが、ドリーミンのドラムスには脱帽ものです。（ちょっと最後のあたりがバテぎみみたいですが）

”CALL ME”を初めて聴いたのが、中学生の時だったけど、めちゃくちゃカッコ良くて翌日にその時リリースしてた”TIDE IS HIGH"のドーナツ盤を買いに行ったネ。BLONDIEは、今聴いても新鮮で、リアルタイムで聴いてたときの懐かしさもあって・・・　デボラは最高だね！

当時２２才ぐらいの時に初めてラジオで聞きました。その個性的なそして軽ーい歌声は私に衝撃を与えました。一遍にデボラ・ハリーのファンになりました。その後シングル版を買って、あれから２５年の歳月が流れてまたあの声が聞きたくてＣＤを買いました。高校生の息子も一緒に聞いておりますが、趣味を共有できるのは嬉しいことです。
