数々の海外有名コンクールで優勝した経歴を持つ日本人オペラ歌手、中丸三千繪のポートレート的アリア集（'90年から'95年までの録音）。最近中丸さんのことを知ったのでとりあえず聴いてみよう、という人におすすめのベスト盤です。３曲目に入っている「ドレッタの夢」ですが、世界でも超一流といわれるオペラ歌手が歌っているのを聴いたときは、その美しい旋律しか印象に残りませんでしたが、中丸さんの歌唱では、不覚にも涙が浮かぶほど感動してしまいました。「Folle amore ! Folle ebbrezza !」の高音のはかない響きには、胸が熱くなります。その他の曲では、フランケッティの「五月に」が良かったですね。ミミも悪くはありませんが、このアリアはありとあらゆるソプラノに歌われているので、そちらとどうしても比べてしまいます。
