　アルファが制作した、最も良心的なYMO映像集。そう、これでいいのである。この調子で『ル・パラス』とか『コーラス』を発掘してほしい。あと多分ドン・コーネリアスに話をつければ80年の「SOUL　TRAIN」もあると思うよ。79年の「VENUE」とかもあるんでしょ？
　このDVDについては後世に語り継ぐためにも、再度焼きなおすべきだ。台湾盤は色が滲んでちょっと悔しいし。

まーこの時代のライヴテイクですからモノラルなんです。カメラワークもいまでいうインディーズ風なのですがわれわれ「ＹＭＯ以降」世代が見てもかっこいい。１０００knivesの部分なんて何回みたことか（「ＢＧＭ」のオリジナルテイクよりずっとかっこいい！！）。ＹＭＯのライヴＤＶＤではいまのところベストでは？（アルファレコードの戦略によりまだ隠し玉があるのかもしれませんが）

幻とまで言われた1979年ニューヨーク・ハラーでのライブ。
当時ユニフォームの人民服を着て怪しいマスクをしたYMOが映っている。
貴重なのは、坂本龍一がタバコを吸いながら東風を演奏するシーンや
なんと当時のギターの渡辺香津美の演奏がノーカットで入っている。
契約時レコード会社の違いでこの演奏はカットされていた。
たぶん再販される可能性は低いと思うが、
海外でのライブ映像がほとんど無いため(たぶん隠されていると思うが)貴重な演奏。
レベルの高いライブが堪能できる！
