このアルバムは剛のすべてが詰め込まれています。
特にライセンスは聞けば聞く程その状況がわかって、
少年から大人になった剛にとっていかに両親が自分にとって
大切な存在だったのかがわかってきて
両親の心の奥を覘いたような切なくて涙があふれる曲。
誰にでもいつのひかこんな気持ちを味わう時があるんだと思う。

剛が好きなら必ずきいてほしいアルバムです。

初めてこのアルバムを聴いて、こんな痛くて力強い唄をうたう人が日本にいたのかと驚きました。タイトル曲のLICENSEは、何度聴いても、故郷の両親を思い、涙がでます。Endingの「何の矛盾もない」ほどのラブソングを、私は未だかつて聞いたことがありません。彼の真っ直ぐな愛情を感じ、自分もこうなりたいと強く思いました。

　ジャケットからしてスタイリッシュで　その内容も最高傑作といえる一品。
また素晴らしい曲順がストイックなまでの映像･心象風景を表現し、胸を打ち震わせてくれます。
　特に（２）~（３）､（６）~（９）の流れ･･･。ラストは圧巻。音楽とはここまで心に刻む感動を与るものだったのかと、衝撃を受けるほど・・・。

　長渕剛が好きな人はもちろん、その他の方でも必携の激マストアルバムです！！
　【第29回日本レコード大賞のアルバム大賞受賞作】
