彼女らがASAYANのオーディションで集まり、シングル“小さな星”を
云枚売らなければ解散などという企画をくぐり抜けて作り上げたアルバムが本作。
今思えば、あのとき解散しなくて本当に良かった。
本作は川村隆一の乙女チックなメロディと、素人スレスレの等身大の少女である
田口、大櫛、片桐の３人が見事に調和した快作（少女と呼ぶ歳ではなかったが）。
ヴィジュアル系バンドの楽曲は女性が歌った方がしっくりくるものが多いが、
川村隆一の曲は特にその傾向が顕著なので、本作の出来も言わずもがな。
また、３人のボーカルがプロっぽくないのが上手く作用している。
どちらかと言えば下手な部類に入るそれが、可愛らしさの演出として成功なのだ。
残念ながら、続く2ndでは軸がぶれたのか、楽曲のレベルがガクッと落ちる。

ラジオから流れてきた「like or love 」が気に入って購入した「11 pieces 」．それを聴いて，これはファーストも聴かねば！と購入したのがこのアルバム．全体を通して歌詞と調和した3人の素直で自然なボーカルと親しみやすい曲調が何度聴いても飽きない要因か．仕事で疲れた時などに聴ける貴重な１枚だ．なかでもミディアムテンポなイントロに続いて優しい歌声がジ〜ンと胸に染み入ってくる「好き」が特にお気に入りの楽曲．また「like」はアルバムとしてなかなか良くまとまっており，コンセプトは違えど松田聖子の名盤「Pineapple」を思い出させた．
見逃したのか、当時テレビでは一度も拝見できなかったが，歌詞カードの3人はとてもキュートだ．
