ヴェルニケローデの高校生40人からなる少年少女合唱団の美しいライブ録音です。1992年8月にサントリーホールで録音されました。当時、この演奏会の模様がＮＨＫで放送され、とても感動して、このＣＤを購入しました。透明感のある素晴らしい歌声に心が洗われます。アンコールの「からたちの花」「朧月夜」もとても美しい演奏です。

　この合唱団のドイツ民謡集は当時1枚2500円でしたが、現在は1000円の廉価版が再販されています。しかし、この東京ライブは再販されていないままです。このＣＤの再販を切に望みます。

１９７０年代、ソフィア少年少女合唱団と共に日本の少年少女合唱団に大きな影響を与えた旧東ドイツのベロニゲローデという小さな町からやって来た青少年合唱団のコンサートのライブです。とてもオーソドックスな歌い方で、当時人気のあったレコードです。ＣＤになって復活していたとは知りませんでした。
