どなたも書いてなかったので。もちろんジョー山中の歌う主題歌も素晴らしいのですが、それ以外に収録されたインストのグルーヴィさにも耳を傾けてください。テレビ版の後半では自らも主題歌「ミッドナイトブルース」を歌っていた荒木一郎によるオリジナルスコアの数々！チト河内の洒落たアレンジも絶妙で、テレビ版のアップグレードヴァージョンといった趣になっており、LP（今はCDですが）全編を通して十分楽しめるクォリティを持っています。カーティスメイフィールドのサントラものにも通じるギター主体のインストがかっこよすぎます。「チャイナファイター」は某関西ニュースの見出しを読み上げるバックに使用されていたと記憶しています。スローな曲も、例えばルパン三世のサントラなんかに比べても聞き劣りしない大人っぽさを持っているといえば伝わるでしょうか？「ミッドナイト…」も短いハーモニカインスト（味あり！）ながら収録されています。アニメファン以外にも広くアピールできる名盤です。一度聴いてみてください！

　ＴＶ版のサントラと同様に、発売元であった「オレンジハウスレコード」の倒産後、入手が困難となっていたアルバムの復刻です。

　単に劇場版のサントラとしてだけでなく、ＴＶ版の後半で用いられたＢＧＭも多数収録されているため、ファンにとって大変に価値のある内容となっています。
