とにかく、歌詞の巧みさに舌をまく。日本語の魅力をここまで自然に追求したバンドってないと思う。いや、マジで。じゃがたらの遺伝子がここにも生きていたとは！嬉しくなっちゃいます。ちょっぴり岡村靖幸風味も。

白眉は「一人暮らしのホステスが初めて新聞をとった」というラップナンバー。サビの歌は、「夜空のムコウ」の作者、川村結花。彼女の歌、歌謡的なエグみと洋モノのコクの境界線をいっていて、これは大変効果的なゲスト配置だと思う。自然な日本語で、歌い方で、ストーリーの内容で、ラップと日本語の可能性を拡大することに成功した面影ラッキーホール。彼らは「いちいち韻を踏もうとして、結局普段のボキャブラリーとライムとの間にスラックを作ってしまう本職ラッパーたち」を残したまま!、軽々と先に進む。辞書を片手に作ったライムには大した意味もなければ、音楽的な意義もない。対して、面影の歌詞には情念や、フリーク性が漂い、日本語のハマリ方にいちいち感激する。モノマネヒップホップはつまらないと思う人も本作だけは聴くといいです。

「俺のせいで甲子園にいけなかった」「あんなに反対してたお義父さんにビールをつがれて」などが収録された、ファーストアルバム『代理母』も合わせておすすめ。

あ、そうそういい忘れたけど、このバンド、演奏も上手い。

たまたま聞いていたラジオから流れてきた面ラホ。。
なんというか、今迄に聴いたことのない音だなあ、と。
その時はそんなに夢中じゃなかったのに、しばらくしてレコ屋に行ってこのCDを見つけてから、私の人生変わりました。

幸薄、歌謡曲、、。
ときくと、なんとなく、昭和歌謡？と思いがちですが、違うんです。

ヒップホップ、レゲエ、etc...。で、幸薄歌謡曲。。
いま静かなブームの昭和歌謡と違うところは、歌の舞台が平成なところだと思います。だからナマナマしくって身につまされるというか、美しくないんです。すぐとなりで起きた話っぽいんです。
もうリリースされて何年か経ちますが、今でも聴けばジュン、としちゃいます。

アマゾンを利用していなかったらこれに出会うことは
なかったな・・・は、さておき、私は福岡に住んでウン十年ですが、
それまで、わが町福岡に愛着を感じていました。
が、このＣＤを聴き、東京・大阪などの大都会に住まなかったことをぼんやりと後悔しています。
大都会の汚れた世界を疑似体験できる・・・そんな思ラホです。
大都会で汚れきった面々に是非聴いて頂きたい。。。現実はもっとドロドロさ！！って言わずにさぁ。。。
