かなりマイナーなイメージがあります。ロンドンゲームとか、タイトル曲のインスタントラブでも、暴威好きしか知らないです。布袋さんのもうひとつのバンドの雰囲気がある感じ。とにかくこれからボウイを聴き始めると、勘違いしてしまうかも。もっとキャッチーなバンドです。こういった、グロテスクな味もあってのボウイなのは確かですが。

暴威の２枚目にして最高傑作です。ファーストアルバムで発散されなかった
パンクの衝動とポップセンスが９つの｢ＬＯＶＥ｣につまってます。ボーカル
は泣き、ギターはうねり、ベース、ドラムはハートをうちぬきます。
ヴィジュアル系、耽美系、破滅系、すべての元祖がここにあります。さあ、
若者よ、暴威のダークサイドへおちていってください。

いわゆる不良あがりなイメージのBOOWYが聴きたければ、まずMORALから聴くべきだと思う。
このアルバム（INSTANT LOVE）は、INSTANTと言っているくせに、最上級のラブで満ち溢れている。
布袋さんのポップセンスが今までリリースされたすべてのBOOWYのアルバムの中でも、群を抜いてひかっている。
特に「OhMyJurry partI」「Teenage Emotion」はいつ聴いても甘酸っぱい青春を味わうことができると、思うのはわたしだけ？

とにかく、ロックというのはポップの要素が入っていないとダメだ、と個人的に思い込んでいるわたしを勇気づけてくれるアルバム。
真剣にポップです。
