デビュー当時はディープパープルのコピーバンドと思っておりましたが、今あらためて聞くと、確かなテクニックと日本人離れした音感とセンスは、現代のロックバンドとは比較にならないですね。聞けば聞くほどハートに訴えかけるストレートなパワーは、素晴らしいです。若い方は古臭いと思われるかも知れませんが、確実に現在の日本のロックシーンにおける源流のひとつであった「紫」を見直されてはいかがですか。
私も何だか、飾り物になりつつあるエレキギターをもう一度弾きたくなりました。

高校生の頃、毎日聞いてました。
特に当時流行った伊豆七島へ行った時など、浜辺で、民宿で、往復の船で、帰りの小田急線でも聞いてました。もちろんカセットテレコで。
正確に力強く叩くドラム、ギターソロの多さ、どれを取っても最高で今日の帰りも車の中で鳥肌が出てました。

ジョージ紫率いる紫のベスト盤。
紫＝DEEP　PURPLEと思い聞かず嫌いの１０年間勿体無かったと反省した。
確かにPURPLEっぽいけどあくまでベースとして。
うなるベースライン、冴えのあるキーボード時折見せる沖縄のリズム。
オリジナリティーあふれる本物です。米軍相手は伊達じゃない！！
