フニャフニャした変な歌い方をするおばさん、というイメージしかなかった矢野顕子。ファンになるきっかけはこのアルバムだったと思う。
彼女の歌は普段忘れ去られているような脳の奥の扉を開ける。開けるというかふっとばす。見たことも無い美しい植物が、みるみる間に成長し、身体の奥を螺旋状にかけめぐる感じ。野性的で勢いに満ち、柔軟で有機的。正直少し怖い。音楽にしても何にしても、天才とか才能とかそういう言葉で終らせてしまう表現はあまり好きじゃないんだけれど、この人だけに関しては天才としか言いようがない。歌の化身のような人だ。戦慄のはしるアルバムだ。

今では考えられない豪華絢爛なメンバーでのライブ音源です。何てったってYMOに山下達郎、吉田美奈子。それにティンパンの流れで松浦正樹と浜口茂外也も。テクノブーム直前のプロフェッショナルな技が冴える、珠玉のライブ。圧巻です。
