今の久石譲からとても想像できないエレクトリックでミニマルな曲が多く、ちょっと意見のわかれる所かもしれない。しかし、今の久石譲の起源をうかがい知ることが出来る一枚だとおもう。荒々しい曲が多く、彼のアルバムのなかでは一番元気な物になっている。そしてただでさえ抜群に綺麗な曲をさらに引き立てているのである。 このCDの曲は "Shoot the Violist"というアルバムにて何曲かリメイクされているし、久石譲のファンが聞いても結構楽しめるアルバムだとおもう。

発表当時、シンセサイザーを使っていた人たちの間ではかなり話題になったアルバム。
CMなどで使われていた曲をアレンジしたものも含まれているが、適度に耳障りが良く、適度にエッジが効いたバランスのいいアルバム。
ただし、ジブリアニメで久石譲を知ったファンにはお勧めしない。
