久しぶりに彼の歌を聞きました。良い声！魅力的な甘い声です！こうした声の持ち主が歌手になってお金を取るにふさわしい！昔の歌ですが今でも十分に感動できます。夜のドラマの主題歌にぴったりなんだけどな~。あと1つの星は次のアルバムのためにとっておきます。楽しみです。ギターにこんなに合う声は滅多とありませんよ。

１９７０年代、突然顕われた盲目の天才ギタリスト＆歌手。
今はなき銀巴里でのコンサ-ト・懐かしい程にすばらしかったですね。何と言ってもデビュ-曲”別れのサンバ”のギタ-テクが非常に印象的でした。

この人をこどもに紹介するにはどう言おう。「サングラスをした宅　八郎のような、、。」と言っても、もはや宅さんさえも知らぬだろう。長谷川きよしがデビューした時、ボクは小学生でした。彼は、明るい毎日しか必要のないような日々を送っていた私に、この世の闇の空間を覗かせたような人であり、私の胸はポッカリと穴を開けられたように、侘びしさを覚えさせられた、黒一色のイメージで、私の前に、また背後から、また内側からも登場した歌手なのでした。（同時代の人で、女性でのそれは、カルメン.マキだったりしました。）
高校の修学旅行では、白黒の、彼がデビューを果たすまでのドキュメント映画を見せられました。そんな小学生が自ら進んで長谷川さんを耳にする気になるまで、とうとう３５年くらい掛かりました。シーナ.リンゴがアルバムでスピッツ草野マサムネとデュエットしている「灰色の瞳」は、残念ですが「定番」の方でどうぞ。（ボクは両方買ったよ。）そのかわり、このシングルコレクションでは、「黒の舟歌」のスタジオ録音バージョンが聴けます。氏の歌はまっすぐ心にとび込んでくるので、気軽には聴けないや。でも小学生だって聴いてもいい。人間には、暗黒の世界は誰にでもあるものだろうので。ゼヒお母さんに頼んでください。きっとオドロクでしょう。しかしもしも長谷川さんがギャグとか一発やってくれたら、一気に身近な存在になる気がするけど、、、。
