　自分が元々好きだった２大バンドつながりでガスタンクを知りました。聞くところによるとガスタンクに影響を受けたバンドは少なくないらしく、本当にすごいバンドだったんだなあと思っています。
　ヴォーカルのBAKIさんのヴォイスは前評判で「ごつい」や「野獣」等聞いていましたが、その力強い叫びのみならず、心地よいバラードも全然OK！というすごい歌唱力を持っていると思います。詳しくは語れませんがメンバー一人一人もギターのtatsuさんをはじめとして能力は格別の印象です。
　アルバム「heartful melody」はBAKIさん選曲のベストだそうで、聴き応え十分な楽曲がそろっています。特徴として、歌詞が短かいのでさびしいですが、テンポや音程をかえて繰り返してくれるので飽きがきません。また本作は数曲ライブ曲も収録されており、もうおそらく味わえないであろう生演奏の雰囲気も感じられます。はまります。一部の楽曲の高いギター音なんかは鳥肌を誘います。
　曲調を変えながら最高の盛り上がりでラストを迎える曲群は魅力大です！また、数曲時間にして長い曲もありますが、そのメロディーに聴き入ってしまうため、すぐに聴き終わってしまうでしょう。価値ある時間を過ごすことができる１枚です。さらに音楽をやっている人は、ステップアップの励みになるはずです。
