5.0 out of 5 stars 骨太なのに品性を感じる内容の密度の濃い名演, 2008/2/10
オイストラフは全体のバランス感が素晴らしい。
音やフレージングも安定していて無理に尖った演奏をしない曲の真っ直ぐな美しさ溢れる名演です。
迫力ある厚みのある美音、低音の安定さ、チャイコは文句ありません。他のレビュワーの方もおっしゃってるように、名人の「余裕」を感じます。それでいて、第三楽章などはエキサイティングな迫力に満ちていて、聴かせどころ満載なのです。

シベリウスも安定した美しさ。でも上品で繊細なのです。
危うさなんかもあると、スリリングな楽しみ方もできるのでしょうけど、オイストラフにはそういった所は微塵もないですね。落ち着いていて細部まで丁寧に演奏しきっています。

オーマンディーのバックも極めて安定してますね。
チャイコでもっとワイルドに行って欲しい感じもしますが、バランスの良いオイストラフに合っていて、両者の懐の深い名演が素晴らしいディスクになっています。

このカップリングだとチョン・キョンファがおすすめですが、オイストラフのも是非聴いて欲しいところです。

チャイコ、シベどちらを聴いても思うんですけど、オイストラフの演奏は他の人の演奏と比べて余裕が感じられるんです。歌うところでは綺麗な音を響かせ、楽器は気持ちよく鳴っているし、チャイコ3楽章、シベ3楽章、どちらも非常に高度な技術が必要な楽章ですが、どちらも完璧に決めているし、焦りなどまったく感じられない。さすがオイストラフってとこです。

p.s.　シベ1楽章冒頭のテンポ少し速いです。

［シベリウス］
北欧の大地に季節の変化の予言を告げる、静かではあるが強い意志を持つ風の如く感じられる冒頭部分は他のヴァイオリン協奏曲にはない魅力を持っています。オイストラフにはこちらの方が相性は良いみたいです。第３楽章もとても印象的で、“北国の火祭り”と表現したのを聴いたことがありますが、まさにその通り。避暑地で夏の暑さを忘れたい時のＢＧＭには第１楽章を、真冬に雪に閉じ込められている家の中で、血液の温度を上げたいときのＢＧＭには、第３楽章を。

別盤のハイフェッツの方が私は好きです。
