ちょっと背伸びしてアルバムを購入したのが１５歳の時でしたが、本当に都会的で大人の音楽だなぁーと強い衝撃を受けたのを憶えています。
完成度の高い楽曲ばかりでアレンジもご機嫌です。バックを固めたミュージシャンもすばらしくのちのＴＯＴＯサウンドの礎にも出会えます。
大げさにいうと歴史に残る名盤だとおもう。永く伝えてほしい。今の１０~２０代の皆さんにも是非一度聴いてほしいアルバムです。

内容は文句無しの一枚なのですが、何故ボズのアルバムはリマスター盤の発売がされないのでしょうか？
このアルバムなんてユニバーサルの”デラックス・エディション”の様な拡大新装版が発売されてもおくない名盤だと思うのですが．．．

　個人的には地味ながら味わい深い”ハーバー・ライツ”がベストトラックですね！

AORを代表する名盤。
Bozの艶のあるヴォーカルと、後にTOTOを結成するDavid Paich, Jeff Porcaro, David Hungateらのメリハリの効いた演奏とが一体化し、洒落たジャケット・デザインと共に時代の高揚感を伝える爽快な一枚。
アルバムは500万枚を超えるセールスを記録し、グラミー賞にも輝いた。
シングル・ヒットしたのは、6「Lowdown」、9「Lido Shuffle」だが、日本人に人気があるのは、ラストの「We're All Alone」。
これ以外にも 1「What Can I Say」、2「Georgia」、5「Harbor Lights」などの出来が良く、捨曲がない。
2年後に結成されるTOTOのファースト・アルバムのサウンドはこの時のままだ。
