　S&Gはレビュー者のいまだに好きなグループです。未発表曲を含めて「独自のSBMプロセスでマスター化」されてデラックスボックスとして発売を知り、即、入手しました。"The Sound Of Silence"のオリジナルとシングルバージョンを聴き比べ、前者のギターとアコースティックベースの伴奏のものと、後者のエレクトリックギターとエレクトリックベース、ドラムスを伴奏したものを聴き比べ、前者の方が歌がよく伝わってくること、これに対して後者はエレクトリックギターのひずんだ音が歌にかぶり、歌詞が聞きにくくなったり、リズムが走って歌の前に出かけようとすることが本アルバムでよくわかりました。1960年代の音楽シーンを考えると後者のアレンジでないとヒットは難しかったと思いますが、曲としての完成度は前者の方が高いことがわかりました。
　収録曲の録音データ、David FrickeによるS&Gに関する読み物、写真を含んだカラー印刷による幅135mm×高さ243mmの35ページの英文ブックレット、そして同じサイズで英文ブックレットの対訳と歌詞（訳詞付）を含む日本語ブックレットが付録とされています。外形寸法は幅144mm×高さ255mm×奥行17mmで他のCDと一緒に棚に入れられず、本棚にいれなければならないのが唯一の欠点です。
