ボストンのローカルバンドだったときの音から一時代を築いた後転落し始める頃の音までのベスト版。これ一枚で全てのアルバムからのシングルカットが聴けるので正直お得感は満載かと思います。特に初めてエアロスミスをききかじり始めた方にとっては最高の一枚。
個人的には17に収録されているファーストからのライブ音源ワンウェイストリートが最高。
ビッグワンズと合わせればある程度までエアロはカバーできる。
その後気に入ったらそれぞれのアルバムを購入という流れがいいかもしれませんね。

１９９７年リリース。帯の説明をそのまま引用：コロンビアレーベルからリリースされた「グレイテストヒッツ」「ＧＥＭＳ」「パンドラズトイズ」を１枚に編集し、更にＳｗｅｅｔ　Ｅｍｏｔｉｏｎの日本未発表リミックスとＯｎｅ　Ｗａｙ　Ｓｔｒｅｅｔの未発表ライヴ（９４年録音）を追加収録したコンプリートベスト。今回私的に安価で聴いたＣＤですが、エアロスミスの楽曲のカッコ良さを再認識させられました・・・ただ選曲はＧＲＥＡＴＥＳＴというには、不満が残る内容と思います。「ＴＯＹＳ　ＩＮ　ＴＨＥ　ＡＴＴＩＣ」から最多４曲収録されているバランスの悪さがとても気になりましたね（タイトルトラックが入らないの？）・・・確かに名盤ではあるのですが、たとえば「ＲＯＣＫＳ」から１曲と言うのもなあ。個人的には、数十年ぶりで聴いた１２曲目「カムトゥゲザー」がなんとも嬉しかったですよ・・・「サージェントペッパーズ」？とか言うつまんない映画のサントラに入ってましたよね。エアロスミスのカッコよさは、この手のベストアルバムにはおさまりきらないので、エアロ入門には「ドローザライン」あたりまでのアルバムをきちんと辿るのが良いでしょう。しかしこの素っ気ないジャケは（笑）。

COLUMBIAレーベル時代の定番ベストヒット。買って損のない、とっても良い選曲なので入門用、または一枚持ってのお出かけ用に最適。最近の中学生（ガキ）はエアロを聞かないから立派な不良になれないんだと、おじさんは思うのだ。
