昨年のツアーの模様を収めた2枚組のライヴ作。後半はあの『狂気』を再現したもの。大型ビジネスを逆手にとってのやりたい放題。アルバム・タイトルに合わせての点滅灯が組み込まれたCDは,暗がりに置いておくとチカチカ光っていて不意に驚かされる。

5.0 out of 5 stars オヤジの涙を誘う珠玉の一枚, 2003/9/14
　ピンク・フロイドの総集編的2枚組ライヴ・アルバム。プログレ系のライヴ・アルバムとしては「Yessongs」があまりにも傑出していますが、この「p･u･l･s･e」は同時代という旬を逃してはいるものの、それに匹敵する出来だと思います。
　何よりも嬉しいのは、DISC2でかの名盤「Dark Side Of The Moon」を丸ごと演奏してくれていることです。これだけでも一聴の価値ありでしょう。アンコールの「Wish You Were Here」では観客が一緒に歌っている様が録音されており、感慨もひとしおです。思わず、歌い出してしまいそうになります。

　ジャケットにもフロイドらしい趣向がこらしてあり、点滅するLEDが仕込んであります（2年くらいは点滅しています）。夜見ると、まるで古き良き時代へと誘う灯火のように思えます。
　70年代の活躍を知る方々にはオヤジごころをそそられる一枚として、知らない方には入門編として余りある珠玉の一枚として、絶対にオススメです。
