ドアーズ、クリムゾン、ツェッペリンのファーストにも比すべき正真正銘の奇跡の名盤。
深淵からジェフのボーカルが浮かび上がるM１、激情が荒れ狂うM２、歌心に溢れたM３、崇高なM６、慟哭のM７と名曲満載。これだけの名曲がありながらカヴァーされるのが極端に少ないのはいかにジェフのボーカルが再現不可能なものかの証でしょう。

日本盤を買う理由は輸入盤についてない英語詩がついていること。あまり語られないことですがジェフの作詞能力もすごいと思います。是非歌詞カードを読みながら聴いてください。

この作品の素晴らしさは何度伝えても伝えきれない。

私は彼の存在を、彼が亡くなってから初めて知った。
そのきっかけの１つに「若すぎる死」という事に心が引っ掛かったのは否めない。だから余計に彼の音楽を美化しているのかと戸惑い、考えることがある。

　けれど結局、答えは１つに決まっている。
　彼の音楽に対する愛情が、私の心に溶け込み、感動を与えてくれる、ただそれだけのことが好きになった一番の理由。
　
　彼の音楽に捧げる感情の全てが希望に溢れていたのは言うまでも無く、ただただ最高に良い作品です。

比類のない声である。そして美しい。
“声の力”をこんなに感じられるアルバムはそうそう無い。

誰の言葉か忘れたけれど、あまりに圧倒的なものを前にすると人は言葉を失うらしい。
彼の声にはそういった力がある。
何度聴いても、彼の声に、その美しさに圧倒されてしまう。

宝物です。
