サントリーホールの１０周年を祝うＣＤ。
武満徹のレクイエムは、可もなく不可もなく。

湯浅のヴァイオリン協奏曲は
個人的には代役の戸田弥生の方が好きなのだが
初演の堀米の独奏、それを支える若杉＝Ｎ響もなかなか良い。

芥川の「響」は所詮過去の作品の焼き直しと言う方もあるだろうが
元になっている「オスティナータ・シンフォニカ」のＣＤ録音はなく、
この曲も他の録音がないことから音源としても貴重であるし
執拗なオスティナートを見事に演奏しており
芥川ファンなら買うべき一枚であろう。
