この価格と収録曲のバランスとを考えた場合に、とても良いベスト版だと思います。
アマゾンサイトにおける拓郎さんのCD売り上げの中で下位にランクされているのが不思議です。
拓郎入門者の方には是非お勧めします。

吉田拓郎さんはどうしてこんなに素晴らしい歌がたくさん作れるのだろうか。非常に哀愁が漂って癒されます。私は普段は専らヒップホップやレゲエしか聞かないような20代の若憎ですが、やっぱり音楽にはジャンルや年代にボーダーがないということですね。やはりいい曲はイイ!!それをみんなにわかってもらいたいなぁ。特に若いやつらに。最後に私は『蒼い夏』が1番好きです。

テレビで嬬恋コンサートの様子を見て、懐かしくなりました。日本中の誰もが一生懸命生きていた時代。あの頃はよかったな、と思うと同時に何でこんな日本になってしまったんだろうと思わずにはいられません。拓郎のひたむきさに聴いているうちに涙が出てしまいます。そう簡単に命を絶たずに、やれるだけやってみようよ、生き方はひとつじゃないよ、って今の若者たちに言いたいです。「おきざりにした悲しみは」イントロが腹に響きます。
