彼の音楽を聞きはじめて早20年近く経過しましたが自分にとってベストアルバムはこの「誰がために鐘は鳴る」です。詩もサウンドも文句無し！確かにアルバム全体が暗いトーンなのですが苦しみながらもそこから立ち上がろうとする力強さを感じるように思います。

捨て曲無しの名作です。

浜省の曲全般に言えることですが、サビのメロディラインで聴かせるのではなく、曲全体で１つの作品として完成しています。

アルバムとしては「少年の心」〜「青の時間」〜「サイドシートの影」への流れはとてもスムーズで、特に「少年の心」は２０歳を越えた人には切ない名曲です。

アルバム１枚として評価した場合、非常に質が高く何度も聴けるアルバムに仕上がっています。

ずっと持っていたいアルバムです、おすすめです。

　稀代のストーリーテラー、浜田省吾の面目躍如、といった感の強い１枚です。サウンドもシャープでとにかく歌の世界に引き込まれていく感じがたまりません。

’９０年といえば世間は実はすぐそこまできていた「バブルの崩壊」にまだ気付くことなく浮かれていた時。音楽業界も「バンドバブルの泥沼」にハマっていた時でしたが、そんな頃にもこんな素晴らしいアルバムがあったのです。
　心ある歌の数々。どうか今からでも耳を傾けてみてください。
