ハードさとポップさが絶妙なバランスで保たれていて、耳馴染みしやすい曲がほとんど。グレイシャルLOVEだけちょっとポップよりなところが強い気もするけど、「DREAMS」はしっかり聴くとかなりへヴィ。重いプレイもそう感じさせないのが本当に上手いと思います。やっぱり音楽は根底のラインがポップじゃないと、ただの自己満足になってしまう気がする。その点で、彼らのセンスはどのバンドよりも秀でていたと思います。
このアルバムは、前作で大ブレイクした勢いそのままで、立て続けに勢いのある曲が迫ってきます。これは本当に名盤。シャムシェイドを「ああ、3分の1の・・」とかなんとか言ってるやつには無理やりでも聴かせたい。この後彼らは、より自分達の表現を模索して、ハードな曲が多くなっていったけど、これはこれで１つの完成型ではあると思います。これ以上どこをどうするの？と思ってしまうような完成度の高さ。シャムのアルバムはすべて完成度高いけど、このアルバムは特に優れていると思います。・・ようするに、聴け！といいたい。

なかなかうまいこといかずにそれぞれが独自の道を歩んでしまったシャムシェイド。「1/3の純情」からとんとん拍子に進みというかそこまで長かったが、ライブパフォーマンスでは評価はデビューから抜群だった。

この作品もヒット曲というかタイアップ曲を前面に押し出してプロモート、ほんとはちがうんだけどね。DAITAのギターセンス、プレイ。dream theaterなみの構成と出すべき部分はかなりあったはず。う~んもったいない。
なんていいながらこのアルバムは傑作です。欲を言えばもっとボトムをだしてもよかったぐらい。

ベクトルの違う彼等の今後がみたい。ちなみにDAITAの「火山高」もおすすめ。

今は解散してしまったバンド「SIAM SHADE」。
やはり伝説のバンドでしょう!

個人的に5は
「Solomon's seal」
のイメージです。
全て佳曲ですが
「Solomon's seal」
「Tears I Cried」
「Grayish Wing」
「MONEY SCIENCE」
が好きです!
是非、聞いてみてください。
