当時の世の中は、なんだか訳のわからないような、バブル景気の高気圧の嵐の中で、私は大学生でした。もちろん、ＤＣブランド＝ディスコ＝ユーロビート＝♪ギヴ・ミー・アップ(マイケル・フォーチュナティ)そして、♪ＣＨＡ-ＣＨＡ-ＣＨＡ-♪でした。私にとっては・・・甘~く・・・ヒジョーにきょーーーれつな、思い出や体験の記憶があります。何度この曲と共に・・・若さのスロットル全開で、はじけていたでしょう。現在のように・・携帯もメールこそなかったけれど、僕たちの栄光の時代、んん！黄金の時代ですね。『あの８０年代に帰りたい！』

良くも悪くも「カラオケの上手い女性」で、華が無く、スターになりそこねた彼女。セカンド以降も曲は良く、話題性も十分、でも大して売れず、「チャチャチャのひと」で終わったのは残念。

「CHA-CHA-CHA」に代表される薄めのラテン歌謡は5曲くらいで
あとは80年代後半のまさにソニー型中庸ポップス。

わざとらしいビブラートが少々うざったいですが
アイドル歌手との差別化に必要な事だったのかもしれません。
正直「CHA-CHA-CHA」をコンピレーションで聞けば充分な気がします。
