多羅尾伴内編曲が２曲、萩原健太・作曲・編曲が１曲、
そのほか、杉真理、佐野元春、井上鑑など、
ナイアガラファミリー総結集のアルバムです。

渡辺満里奈は可愛いなと思うものの歌手としては特に聴きたいとは思わなかったが、ＴＶアニメ「チビまる子ちゃん」のエンディグ・テーマとして使用された６．をきっかけにこのミニ・アルバムだけ聴くこととなった。大滝詠一が作曲し、CHELSEA 名義で編曲、ストリングスのアレンジメントを井上鑑が手掛けたとなれば、もちろんそれは“ナイアガラ・サウンド”であり、テレビで流れてきたその曲を初めて聴いた時にかなり興奮した記憶がある。渡辺満里奈の歌は特にうまくはないもののクセというものが全くなく「水」のようにあっさりしている。そのためか、“ナイアガラ・サウンド”にはかなり相性が良く大満足な作品である。お目当ての６．はチビまる子ちゃんのバージョンを更に深めたかのような新バージョンで収録されており、他にも３．が多羅尾伴内編曲、ストリングスのアレンジメント井上鑑、金延幸子のカヴァーの５．も同じくで、２．は井上鑑のアレンジ、４．のアレンジには杉真里の名前も見える。(嶋田陽一と共同) １．がちょっと恥ずかしいものの全曲が素晴しい出来。特に佐野元春 詩／曲の３．は、美メロでこの時期のナイアガラ・サウンドの指標的なサウンドを構築しており、ストリングスやチェンバロの響きが美しすぎる。金延幸子の５．はいわずもがなの名曲。あっと言う間のミニ・アルバムだが、至福の時となるだろう。
