まさにタイトルどおりの名曲揃いです。テレビで使用されている力強いテーマ曲やそのピアノバージョンなど。同じ曲とは思えないほどのリミックスがなされており、何回聞いても飽きがきません。
リラクゼーションにもいいかも。

このCDではいろいろなバージョンが用意されていて本当に素晴らしいと思います。イマージュの一番最後にも入っている曲ですが、ここではとくにピアノバージョンがいいと思います。
　リラックスしたいときなどにはピアノを、ノリノリになりたいときなどにはアロハを、また感動の渦に巻き込まれたいならオーケストラなんかいかがでしょうか？

　目をつぶって聴いてみてください！感動の先が見えます！

TBSの秀逸番組「世界遺産」を、より素晴らしいものにしているのが、このテーマ曲　-　THE SONG OF LIFE 。

これを聴いていると、テレビで見てきた世界遺産の数々が目に浮かんでくる。
雄大な世界遺産にふさわしい名曲だと思う。

このCDでは、THE SONG OF LIFEの各種ヴァージョンが聴けるので、TBSの「世界遺産」ファンでない方にも、お薦めしたい。個人的には、ゆったりとした気分になれる７番目が好きだが、ほかにも、心落ち着く「ピアノ・ヴァージョン」や、切なさ漂う「ギター・ヴァージョン」、明るい調子の「アロハ・ミックス」と、気分に応じていろいろ楽しめるところもオススメ。

この曲とともに、緒形直人のナレーションが聞こえてこないと、何か妙な感じになるのは、初回からこの番組を見続けているためだろう。ナレーションは、２代目の寺尾聡の方が良い気はするが、世界遺産とTBSとTHE SONG OF LIFEと緒形直人が切り離せないものになっている。
