爆風スランプの中でもかなりの名曲を集めたベストアルバム。
このアルバムでしか聞けない曲もある。一曲目の「イエローイエローハッピー」と最後の「ブレイヴ・ラブ、ティガ」の二曲。
（ただこの２曲は他のアーティストに提供した曲ではあるが）

爆風スランプのアルバムには時々ファンでも「？？？」と思わせる曲が多いがこのCDは比較的マトモ（失礼）で手堅くまとめられている。

どの曲のメロディも個性的だが、やはり爆風の魅力は歌詞。
とは言っても「良い歌詞」だけではなく「聞けば聞くほど味の出る歌詞」が多い。

１０曲目の「愛のとんかつ」では豚が美少年に惚れて…という内容。
比喩などではなく、ホントに豚。そして自分の肉で好きな男の子にとんかつをつくってしまう。
なんじゃそりゃ！と思うかもしれないが聞いてみるとしだいに豚に「頑張って！」と祈ってしまう。

１５曲目の「ザ・ブルー・バス・ブルース」はビッグになる！というロック少年たちが
移動時使っていた古い大きなバスとの思い出と別れ。という内容。
かと言って寂しいメロディではなくウキウキする楽しい曲。
別れは寂しいものでもあるが新たなステップでもある…。


「美男と美女のドラマティックな展開」ではなく「ちょっとおマヌケな人（豚）たちが精一杯頑張ってます」というものが多い。

この等身大の歌詞をぜひ味わって欲しい。

ドライブ中にかける爆風スランプは現在小学生の息子にはさすがに不評かと思ったが、19曲目の「ブレイヴ・ラヴ,ティガ」(仮)はウルトラマンティガの曲だったため、息子が大喜び。意外にも親子で楽しめるアルバムとなっている。

個人的には「旅人よ」（2曲目）と「月光」（14曲目）が好きだが、全体的にいい曲ばかり。買って損はない1枚。
