そんなにめちゃくちゃ売れていたわけじゃない。
なのに、このはじけっぷりはなんなんだろう？
リアルで聞いていた当時は単にバンドブームの流れの中で聞いていたからよくわからかったけど、改めて聴き直している数年の評価は、とてもレベルの高いミュージシャン、バンドだったんだなぁ、ってことです。
特にM-4『LOVE&BLOOD』でのファンキーさは、色物的なガールズバンドじゃ絶対に出来ない曲です。ごった煮というか、メンバーのバックボーンがつぶさに見え隠れする、レベルの高いアルバムです。
キーボードやシンセの音が少し時代を感じるところもありますが、よく出来たロックバンドだったんだなぁ。。と改めて感じます。

　この頃のロック盤といえばオープニングからエンディングまでコンサートのような構成演出をするものだった。この作品もその王道を行っていると言って過言ではない。一気にテンションを上げるオープニング、ノリとマジメさとMCとサワヤカとバリエーションで中盤を締め、最後に盛り上がって終わる。曲の終わりまで楽器をバンバンにならした後「サンキュー」で終わる。
　このCDに納められた曲のひとつひとつにそれぞれファンがいる。プリプリが5人の個性の集合であるのと同じように、このアルバムもそれぞれが作る曲の個性の集合となっている。このアルバムの後、「ダイアモンド」でプリプリは不動の人気を得た。まさに日本ロックの王道である。

完成度の高い作品、また演奏も完成されているが、あえてポップス史上不朽の名作「M」が含まれている点をあげたい。おそらく、若い人はこの曲を聴いたことはあっても、プリプリの曲であることは知らないであろう。つまり、Mはこのアルバムに入っている、ということをここに伝えたい。とにかく、この曲はイントロを聴いただけで、永遠に残る重要作であることは何人も否定できないだろう
