5.0 out of 5 stars 壮大かつ爽やかな作品, 2005/1/21
壮大なメロディーの「Adventures」で始まり、同曲のロングバージョンで最後を飾る、ドラマチックな雰囲気の作品です。

底抜けの明るさを持つ「All About You」、ジャジーな雰囲気の「Night Dreamer」、マイナーキーで歌い上げる「Travelers」等、バラエティに富んだ曲が収録されています。それまでのスクエア作品同様に明るさを持ちつつも、一貫して「壮大さ」を持ち合わせています。

伊東たけし氏在籍時代の、最高傑作だと思います。

私が最初に聴いた、THE SQUARE のアルバムです。

後年の、華やかなスクウェア・サウンドから比べれば、曲も演奏もいたってシンプルな感はありますが、いろいろな思い入れのあるこのアルバムは、やはりMy Best of THE SQUARE と言いたい。

ADVENTURE~prologueに始まり、ADVENTURE~epilogueで締めくくられる、１編の物語を読むような余韻があるアルバムです。まだ聴いたことの無い人、是非聴いてみてください。
と、在庫切れなのを承知で、自分が持っているSONY版の方に書いてしまいました。Villageレコードから出ている物も、同じだと思いますので、そちらで、是非。
