大滝さんのノベルティー路線（駄洒落，風刺，パロディ，音頭等）とメロディー路線が見事に融和した大傑作ではないでしょうか。間違いなく好みに合う方と合わない方がおられるでしょうが（笑）、ぜひ多くの方に聴いて頂きたい作品です。１２ヶ月それぞれに持ち味があって楽しめます。

大滝さんの最高傑作であり、もう、大滝さん自身がこの世界には戻ってこない（戻れない）分、よけいに愛おしい作品です。とくに６月の「青空のように」はその当時における大滝さんのすべてであり、総決算であるから、ものすごいことになっています。「君は天然色」以降の洗練と昇華に慣れたビギナーの耳に、この「青空のように」でのビッグバーンのようなプリミティブな音響は、きっと衝撃をもたらすことでしょう。大滝さんの歌詞と鼻声がもたらす軽やかさと切なさが更に胸をグイグイ締めつけ、エンディングでの山下達郎のコーラス（怪鳥的奇声）は脳天にいつまでも刺さり続けます。

高校生の頃、発売と同時に手にしたこのアルバム。ＣＤ化にあたり、ＳＯＮＹＭＩＸにて発売された音は、大滝氏の意を得たＭＩＸとはいえ実はコロンビアのレコードで聞いた音とは大違い。よく言えばソフィスティケートされ、エフェクト処理された楽曲は、ロングバケーションの製作意図を我々に理解を促す役割に一役買ってはいるものの、ノスタルジックな原音を期待していた私にはやや不満。特に青空は完璧別の曲！それでもメロディメーカー、そして自虐ネタを含むギャグエッセンス、挙句の果てはモノマネまで大滝氏の魅力を集約した珠玉の一枚に変わりはない。ここはいち早くカレンダーＮＡＫＥＤの発売を待ちたいと思う今日この頃です。
