天才シンガーソングライター「五輪真弓」

彼女のあらゆる代表曲を、
オリジナル音源で完全網羅したのがこのアルバムである。
収録作は何れも傑作ばかりで、どれほど音楽に疎い人でも
二時間ドラマの主題曲等で聞き覚えがあるであろう有名な曲ばかりだ。

それにしても実に聴き応えがある。
何度繰り返し聴いても飽きることが無い。

惚れ惚れする美しい旋律に、切なく包み込んでくれる詩と、
魂に染み入る歌声・・・

電子音のガシャガシャした騒々しさや、
無闇やたらと喚き立てる絶叫とは全く無縁の、
本物の歌唱というものがここにある。

ソニーの最新技術によって再現された
音質の良さも素晴らしい。

これは損をさせまい。
是非・・・いや、絶対聴くべし！

昔から彼女のベストセレクションCDは持っていましたが、陰気で暗い歌が多いという印象でした。最近NHKの「ソングス」で彼女と小椋佳とのコラボで放映していてすごく良かったので、リマスターされたこのCDを購入してみました。選曲によるのかリマスターが良かったのかは分かりませんが、このCDは心に浸みるアルバムで感激しました。（ベストセレクションをもう一度聴き直しましたが音質および印象は今ひとつでしたので両方の要素かと思います。）

いまどきのガチャガチャうるさく、常套句を並べてるだけで何を言ってるのかさっぱり分からない邦楽にうんざりしている皆様方に大推薦です。
シングル曲中心で初心者向けの好盤ですが、アルバム収録曲だった「心の友」を是非聴いてください。この曲はインドネシアでは第二の国歌とも言われている曲で、あのスマトラ大地震の時にも国民の気持ちを鼓舞したと言われています。そんな事情を知って聴くと自然と胸が熱くなってきます。
