このアルバムは、奥田民生の作品の中で１，２を争う傑作だと思います。
ザラザラしたサウンドのパワフルなロックですが、どこか不安げな空気の
漂う作品でもあります。「悩んで学んで」では「不安だー！」と叫んでるし、
「厳しいのである」では「俺、才能ないや」と嘆いてます。このとき民生
３０才、無邪気な少年じゃいられない。理想と現実の狭間で悩み苦しむ。
そこで七転八倒する姿が美しい。この作品を作れたからこそ今の民生が
あるのだと思います。痛くて美しいアルバム。

奥田民生の中でもロック面を強く押し出した作品。
その中でも中盤のhey!mountain･つくば山の流れでは股旅に続く
奥田民生のダラダラ感がうかがえて新鮮。

彼の作品には手抜きという言葉が一切存在せず、音に妥協を許しているものがない。だから聞き込めばそれだけ新しい発見があるし、好きになれるというものだ。山場がいくつも組み込まれている絶品。買いです。

「29」に比べて、力が抜けた感が伝わってきます。
出来たものからリリースしているかのような適当感、
歌詞は本当にどうでもいいと思ってる感。
熱心なファンではない私には、
聴きたいなと思い出した時に、気軽に聴ける付き合い方を
許してくれるアーティストが、奥田民生です。
楽に聴けるアーティストって希少なんですよね、実は。
