かのさんのアルバムはバンド時代も含めて全て持っているが、２００３年３月現在、このアルバムが個人的にはベストだ。理由はまず何と言ってもかのさんのヴォーカルだが、これが丁度いい塩梅である。かのさんをずっと追いかけているファンなら分かると思うが、ショコラータ時代のオペラティックなソプラノから近作のハスキーな癖のある歌い方までの変化のグラデーションの中で、本作での声はまさに”丁度いい塩梅”なのだ。ハスキーさや独特の歌い回しの癖は押さえ気味に、等身大の歌がここでは聴ける。また、曲の出来もよく、所謂「捨て曲」がない。アレンジも非常に丁寧に仕上げられており、「空のアンテナ」などは本当に青空に抜けるようなアレンジで、他のアルバムにない独特の雰囲気を持っている。かのさんのアルバムで何か１つ選ぶとすれば、現在のところ、このアルバムをお勧めする。
