この2枚組CDのDISC1はユニコーン唯一のライブ盤CDです。
初期の曲中心の選曲になっていますが、なんといってもアルバム、シングル未収録曲だった「忍者ロック」が収録されているのがうれしい限りです。彼らの懐の深さをたっぷりと垣間見ることができるライブ盤です。

DISC2も「サマーな男」や「ブルース」等、アルバム未収録だった曲がいくつか収録されています。奥田民生による「大迷惑」歌唱指導も企画物が好きだったユニコーンらしくて最高です。

ベスト盤というより、ユニコーンらしさがよく表れた曲ばかり集めたアルバムという感じがします。曲のコンセプトがバライティに富んでいるので、さながら博覧会を堪能しいるような気分、ベスト盤とはまた違ったユニコーンの真価のようなものを感じさせてくれるアルバムです。

この作品を最後にして、ユニコーンは解散してしまったわけだが、最後のCDであるこのCDを聴くと、ユニコーンの曲のおもしろさに触れられる。特に2枚目にはいっている開店休業は、僕の中ではユニコーンで1番好きな曲だ。おもしろいのでぜひ買ってみてください。
