このアルバムの中でシングルとして発表されたのは「ドール」だけだが、実は名作といえる作品が数多くちりばめられている。
クリスタル・ムーンという爽やかな曲の後に続く「ピッツァ・ハウス22時」
これは今でも多くのファンの心をとらえて離さない曲だと思う。
ノスタルジックな雰囲気が全体に流れ、少し昔恋人だった二人の心象風景が見事に表現されている。
まだ高校生だった頃、ピザのことをピッツァと発音することに偉く感動したっけ（笑）
そして「煉瓦荘」
男の心情を実にうまく表現している。
過去の自分とオーバーラップする部分が多く、この曲を聴く度に涙が滲んでくる。
ピッツァ・ハウス22時と煉瓦荘を聞くためにだけ買ってもいい作品だと思う。

シングルのドールを含む８枚目のアルバム。ジャケットは、太田裕美の作品の中で唯一セクシー。しっとり聞かせる 内容で、ファンの間で人気が高く、最近のコンサートでも良く歌われる 「ピッツァ・ハウス22時」の透明なボーカルは当時の世代なら涙して聞ける。

最初の曲から最後の曲まで、粒ぞろいで、ファンのみならず太田裕美本人も１、２位を争う好きな作品と言わしめる素晴らしい作品集。

是非、スキップなどしないで通して聞いて欲しい。

5.0 out of 5 stars 実験作としての色合いが濃いけれどやっぱり名盤, 2004/5/18
太田裕美のアルバムをたどると徐々に作品の質が変貌していくのが分かる。前々作『こけてぃっしゅ』が完成度の高いアルバムだったので、本作では作曲・編曲の部分で冒険が激しいと思う。でもこの実験がとてもいい。シャッフル調の「エアポート’７８」、曲名どうりの展開をみせる「天国と地獄」、最初期の頃のにおいを感じさせる「冬の蜂」、そして個人的に一番好きな「煉瓦荘」。松本隆はやっぱり女心より男心を書かせたほうが断然いい(男だから当然か）と感じさせてくれる。この曲はドラムのハットとかギターとか各楽器の音色が実によくとけあっているまさに名曲。アルバム全体の統一感という意味では『こけてぃっしゅ』の方が上かもしれないが、太田裕美黄金期の作品として双璧をなしていると思う。
