　「恋愛遊戯」が発売当時から大好きだったので、このアルバムを買ってみました。松本＊筒美作品による10曲ですが、大人っぽいテーストで今聴いても古さを感じさせない名曲揃いです。前作「１２ページの詩集」の若干やぼったく＊冬＊フォーク調から一転、都会的＊夏＊ポップス調へ持ってきている対比がおもしろいですね。このアルバムの後太田裕美は低迷期に入っていくわけなので、まさにここで全盛極まったという感じではないでしょうか。彼女の歌手としての魅力が存分に引き出され、その歌唱の美しさが頂点に達していると思います。
　ただ個人的にわずかにひとつ残念なのが、最後に「９月の雨」が収録されていることです。この曲自体は誰もが認める名曲ですが、アルバム全体のバランスを考えると敢えてラスト持って来ずシングルのみとして、代りにアルバムに合ったラスト曲を収録して欲しかったと思います。といっても星５つの評価を下げるほどではなく、名盤であることには違いありません。

７７年発売の太田裕美の４枚目のアルバムです。ここでは全曲、松本隆・筒見京平のヒットメーカーが本領を発揮しているとともに、どことなく、前々作「手作りの画集」をもっと大人の女性らしく仕上げたアルバムになっています。
そして、このアルバムが初めて発売されたのは７月の暑い盛り、どことなく夏を感じる雰囲気で、特に１曲目の「夏風通信」ではふっと夏の暑い日の思い出が蘇えるような気がします。それほどこの曲は夏の日の情景を鮮やかに描き出した名曲。「心象風景」も歌詞・メロディが印象に残る曲です。シングル曲「恋愛遊戯」では、ボサノバ調のアレンジが光る心地良い曲で、世間一般では今一つの評価だったようですが、個人的には歌謡曲テイストの「九月の雨」よりもはるかに好きな曲でした。
その「九月の雨」ですが、このアルバムの雰囲気や当時の裕美の個性を考えた場合、やや不釣り合いだったような気がします。今にして思えば、代わりに「しあわせ未満」を入れ、この曲はベスト盤まで待ったほうが良かったような気がします。ちなみに当時、裕美は喉を痛めていたようで、高音が続くこの曲のサビが非常に苦しげでした。
いずれにせよ、彼女としては、このアルバムまでが仕上がり・セールス面を含めピークであったように思います。

アルバムに収録されている曲のすばらしさは、すでに語りつくされているようですのでここでは触れません。
このアルバムのもうひとつのすばらしさは、写真だと思います。
私はこのアルバムの裕美さんに一目ぼれしました。まさに歌手太田裕美の魅力のすべてを表現していると思います。清楚で美しく、はつらつとしている裕美さんです。
太田裕美さんが好きな方は、必ずゲットしてください。
絶対に損は無いですよ~。
