前作「Blue　Blood」は完成度が高いものの、ToshiのVocalに少し荒さがありましたが、今作ではかなり上手くなっています。
それは「Say Anything」を聞けばよくわかります。
このアルバムの特徴はYoshiki以外のメンバーが作った曲が多いことです。（Taijiファンにはうれしいですね。）
しかし、予定では「Art Of Life」「Standing Sex」の二曲も収録する予定だったそうですが、Yoshikiの曲が少ないので、せめて「Standing Sex」は収録して欲しかったです。

91年発表のXのメジャーでの2ndです。
またTAIJIが参加した最後のアルバムです。
メンバー全員が最低一つの楽曲の製作に関わっているために非常に楽曲が多彩になっています。
イントロの1.Es Durのピアノ線から続く2.Silent Jealousyは紅と人気を2分する、
名実揃ったXの代表曲です。

hide得意のキャッチーなメロディに乾いたギターがカッコ良い3.Miscast、
X史上最速の曲7.Stab Me In The Back(約BPM200!?)に、
hideがシンセと打ち込みをメインにして作った8.Love Replica、底抜けに明るい、
正に異色作9.Joker、Xならではの優れたバラード10.Say Anythingなども収録されており、
他のアルバムには無い雰囲気を感じます。

ただ楽曲が多彩な分、アルバム全体としてみるとまとまりに欠けるかも知れません。
そしてYOSHIKI色が最も薄いアルバムだとも思います。

自分が個人的に非常に好きなのが6.Voiceless Screamingです。
TAIJIが様々なアコースティック楽器を弾き、TOSHIが作詞したという異色作ですが、
ノスタルジックで抜群の雰囲気を纏った名曲だと思います。

このアルバムはメンバー全員がどれかの曲作りに加担しているという、まさにＸ合作のアルバム。一曲一曲のクオリティも高く絶対聞いて損なしのアルバム。曲調も『Joker』などのポップな曲から『Say Anything』などのＸお得意の美しいバラードまで幅広い！！個人的には『SilentJealousy』がオススメ☆間奏のギターがカッコイイ！！何度聞いても素晴らしい(>_<)Ｘの曲のクオリティの高さに改めて気づかされる一枚です(*^^*)
