ここ数年,かなりバイオレンス的な方向へとベクトルが向き,グランジ系のハードなものやラップなども躊躇なく取り入れていた彼らだが,今作はその辺の作風が影を潜め,さわやかで心地いいサウンドにくるまれたポップなナンバーが並ぶ。聴きやすい。


内容 (「CDジャーナル・レビュー」より)

あの傑作『GREAT ADVENTURE』から1年半。真心はまた変わった。今回倉持と桜井が作り上げたのはソウル・フィーリングもたっぶりと、愛と希望がフラワ~に咲き乱れてる遥かなるラブ&ピースフル盤。歌詞にみる幸福感・充足感的には前作とさほど変化はないかもしれないけど、ガナるようなラップやヘヴィなロック・チューンで吠えまくり、身を裂くようなハングリーさを感じさせた音作りは今回微塵もない。それがいいとか悪いって話じゃなくね。テンポもミディアムが目立ち、必要にして十分な音数だけが巧みにツボを突くアレンジでまとめられている。これまで倉持主導の感のあったアルバム制作だけど、今作では4曲ものメイン・ヴォーカルと全編曲作業(ホーンや鍵盤がフィーチャーされた印象が強い)を担った桜井色が前面に打ち出されているので、そのへんに変貌のヒントがあるのかも。ともあれ、こういう非常にリラックスした真心も個人的には大歓迎。でもライヴではハジけてね。 (ささきまる) --- 1998年05月号

真心ブラザーズというと「どかーん」のイメージが強い人がいるかもしれない。
でも、このアルバムを聴くとそんなイメージはことごとく壊されてしまうだろう。
全曲ラブソング。
アルバム全体を１本の芯が貫く中で、桜井さん、倉持さんの個性が思い切り生かされている。
特に「エンドレスサマーヌード」は名曲中の名曲。

真心ブラザーズを知ってる人も、知らない人もぜひ聴いて欲しい。

桜井さんの秀でたポップセンスに倉持さんの天然の才能がのっかった作品。
他の作品にくらべ倉持色は薄めだが、その分真心の中でも間口が広いでしょう。
全体的に幸せな雰囲気が漂っています。（真心の毒っ気を好む人には物足りないのかもしれないけど…。）

幸福感に包まれている感じの音を目指したのかな？
真心独特の軽薄を装う感じや、虚しさ、毒はかなり薄いが、桜井色が強く出ているという点に関しては貴重なアルバムと言えるかもしれない。
全体的に万人受けするタイプの音だし、ENDLESS SUMMER NUDEという名曲が入っているので、BGMとかには向いている。
個人的には”チャンス”と”Relax・Open・Enjoy”が気に入っている。
