1997年にリリースされた真心ブラザーズのベストアルバム。
バンド名を「THE 真心ブラザーズ」から「真心ブラザーズ」に変えた1995年以降のシン
グルコレクションですが、ベスト盤という、いわば寄せ集めアルバムに得てしてありがち
な「アルバムとしての統一感のなさ」は感じられず、むしろ"真心ブラザーズの世界"に
浸って最後まで聴くことができる。（そういう芯の通った曲作りをしてきたんだなー、とい
うのを実感します）

<1>「拝啓、ジョンレノン」 は John Lennon への想いを綴ったある意味彼らの代表曲。
まずこれをオープニングに持ってきてリスナーに自分たちのカラーをバーンと提示する。
<10>「キモちE~ファミリー・アフェア」 では後にYO-KING(倉持陽一)(vo.)の奥さん
となる元JUDY AND MARYの YUKI とのデュエットが楽しい。(スライの名作のカバー
ですネ)
競演といえば <11>「ループスライダー」 にコーラスで参加している若き日の PUFFY
も新鮮！
圧巻は <13>「素晴らしきこの世界」 で、"夢を見る前に現実を見よう"と毒づく歌詞が、
巷に氾濫しているノー天気なお気楽ソングに対するアンチテーゼのようでグッときます。
真心ブラザーズの入門編としてふさわしい一枚だと思います。

真心ブラザースは聴いた事が無かった。でもこないだテレビで”拝啓ジョンレノン”がちらっと流れてから気になって仕方なかったので購入。
真心ブラザースって結構すごいんだなあーっていうのが素直な感想。でも曲と歌詞以外はこれが昔のアルバムだからかちょっと古さを感じる。バックコーラスとか。。
でも新しめのアルバムも聴いてみたくなったので★3つ。
