Dir en greyインディース時代の作品です。
私的には、結構好きな曲調です
私はこの頃の、世間が言ういかにも「V系っぽい!!」サウンドを造るディルが大好きでした。

最近の曲は、洋楽被れであんまり…
目指したい路線は分かるのですが、いかんせん彼等の演奏技術や歌唱力がそれに追い付いていないと思うので…聞いてて何か、むず痒い。。。音が薄いし足りんしvocalも軽いし…
最新アルバムを買うくらいなら、正直、コーンやスリップノット買った方が断然良い!!!と私は思っちゃいます…

しかし、Dir en greyがこれからのジャパニーズ・ロック界を支える第一人者になるだろうとは、確信もしてたりします。海外と比べると、まだまだまだだけど。

そして、耳が肥えた今でもこの曲は決して嫌いになれません。この頃の音源は、プロモと併せて聞くと、尚良し!!!

コテコテV系が好きな方には、オススメ。
今のラウド・ロック系のディルから入った方は、聞かなくても良いかも。全く面影ないですよf^_^;
プロモも誰が誰だか分からない(笑)
今とのギャップを楽しみたい方は、どうぞ(笑)

Dir en greyというヴィジュアル系バンドのインディーズ時代のマキシシングル。
インディーズ時代からかなりの人気があり、この『JEALOUS』の後に出たシングルCD『I'll』ではインディーズでありながらオリコン7位という快挙を成し遂げてます。
この『JEALOUS』も30位。そのくらいパワーに溢れたバンドです。

１曲目のJEALOUSは女の人の歌詞になっていて、悲しい歌詞と力強いボーカルが凄くカッコイイ☆
２曲目Unknown…Despair…a Lostはテンポの速いロック調。怪しい歌詞とカッコイイギターが今聞いてもやっぱり凄いと思ってしまいます。
なんとこのCD自宅録音というから驚きです☆一度聞いてみる価値アリ！

jealous　全くと言っていいほど歌えていない。バックの演奏が単純すぎてどうしてもだれる。名曲とはとてもじゃないが言えない。というかDirらしくない。

総じて演奏が単純すぎる。ヴィジュアル系の汚点をまとめて一つにしたかのような嫌なシングル。これだけ聞けば、Dir en greyというバンドに対する印象は「つまらない」ぐらいで終わるだろう。
