☆この『ＩｖｏｒｙII』も名曲揃いです。今井美樹の曲の数々を見ていると、今井美樹を支えている多くのアーティストが存在することがわかります。特に、作詞「岩里祐穂」、作詞・作曲で「上田知華」などの作品には名曲が多く、私はこの二人を注目しています。中でも、〈07：半袖〉は、作詞「岩里祐穂」、作曲「上田知華」という組み合わせで、名曲中の名曲と言えましょう。

1.3.4.5.7は1990.8.29リリース『retour』(5th)、2.6.11は1991.9.7リリース『Lluvia』(6th)、10.12.13.14.15を1992.12.23リリース『flow into space』(7th)から選曲。8.9はアルバム未収録のシングルという構成。

前作の「IvoryI」との違いはアルバム収録曲から比較的ミディアムテンポのものがセレクトされた点と、今井美樹自身がライブで現在もセットリストに取り入れるものが多く収録されていることだろう。

８は唯一オリコン１位を獲得した名曲。オリジナルアルバムには収録されていない。1990-1992までのトラックとなる。

このアルバムは隠れた名曲が沢山つまっています。

聞けばその頃の思い出が浮かんできます。
純粋？だったころの今井美樹さんらしさがつまっていて、
とてもいい一枚だといえます。
