「Choo Choo Train」はやはり名曲ですし、
元歌がまた聴きたくなって入手しました。
改めて気づいたのですが、中西圭三提供曲は
サビのほとんどを中西氏が歌っているんですね。
当時、氏はソロでも「Woman」でブレイクするなど大変精力的だったのに
ZOOでもこんなにいい仕事をしていたとは！
ソロにはない、コーラスワークによる豊かな響きが魅力的で
中西圭三ファンはこれも必聴だと思います。
しかしサビとそれ以外の部分の、歌唱のギャップがあまりにも…。
もう少し力を抜いて歌えば、曲の良さを殺さないのにね。
ま、当時はバブルとボディコンの残り香の時代、
みんなビンビンに肩に力が入っていた時代ですからね。仕方ないか。
「恋のブギ・ウギ・トレイン」もせっかくの名曲だし
バックトラックはかなりいい感じなんですけどね。
えー、結論を申すなら、
「Choo Choo Train」だけ聴きたい人はEXILEで充分！ということです。

　ザ・ビートルズのアルバム・タイトルからパクッて「ＺＯＯ　ＦＯＲ　ＳＡＬＥ」と名付けられた？このベスト盤。大ヒット「Ｃｈｏｏ　Ｃｈｏｏ　ＴＲＡＩＮ」をはじめ、最高のダンス・ナンバーばかりが収められている。ここで歌唱力とか、音楽性などを語るのは場違いなのではあるが（笑）、中西圭三、山下達郎など優れたアーティストが楽曲を提供していることは、おおいに注目すべきところ。「Ｎａｔｉｖｅ」はいつ聴いてもワクワクさせられるし、「ＳＨＹ-ＳＨＹ-ＳＨＩＮＥ」も思わず体が動き出す位ノリがよくかっこいい！「Ｇｏｒｇｅｏｕｓ」の新バージョンは正直ピンとこないのだが・・・。とりあえずはどれもハッピーになれるいい曲ばかりが収められたアルバム。
