　1971年にアルバムが発売されたのですが、よくギター・コピーをしていたせいか、レコードはかなり痛んでいます。
　「人間なんて」「結婚しようよ」は、拓郎のスタンダードですが、そのほかにも名曲とされているものも入っています。
　「ある雨の日の情景」は、ギター奏法を一生懸命に練習しました。「どうしてこんなに悲しんだろう」は、隠れた名曲。「たくろうチャン」は、誰でも歌えるユーモラスな曲です。
　オリジナル・アルバムとしては2枚目ですが、かなりラフな作り方をされていて、聴いていても気負わず聴く事ができる初期の名盤です。

決して過大評価するつもりは無いが、リアルタイムで本作品を体験した世代にとって忘れることが出来ない1枚。実際の拓郎ブームはこのアルバムの後と言った方が正確であるが、加藤和彦他当時最先端を行く都会的センス、アレンジがどうしてこんなにすばらしく、且つこんなに悲しいんどうろうとうならせる作品が目白押しです。時代遅れなブラスはご愛嬌。「猫」のサポートもうれしい。結構てんこ盛りの充実した内容です。「人間なんて」は当時から感じていましたがもう少し長くてもいいのでは・・・（LIVE盤の「人間なんて」が長すぎたからか？）

吉田拓郎はちゃらけている感じがして好きではなかった。
しかし、「人間なんて」は、ついつい聞き入ってしまった。
何が言いたいのかわからないが、そういう時代だったのかもしれない。

今の人が聞いて、どういう印象を持つかは興味深い。
