どうしてもこれだけの曲数に泉谷の魅力をおさめるのは無理があります。「終りをつげる」や「陽が沈むころに」、「寒い国からの手紙」などなど洩れてしまっている名曲がたくさんあります。初期泉谷の内省的な歌は、ほんとうにしみいります。「北の詩人」や「彼と彼女」なども入っていたらよいのですが・・・しかし、望みを言い出せば尽きません。はじめて泉谷にふれたいひとには、まずまずの編集盤でしょう。ひびくものがあれば泉谷はこれだけは解らないので、ぜひオリジナルアルバムも聴いてほしいです。みうらじゅんが描いたジャケ、なかなかよろしいですな。
