辛口批評も多い、同アルバムですが、アレンジなんかこれはこれでいいんじゃないんでしょうか。表現としてこういうのもアリだと思いますよ。

元ZONEのTAKAYOが「ぞーんぽた〜じゅ」（北海道文化放送）で鈴の音のみさこと一緒にやっていた「伽草子」の曲が気に入ったので買ってみました。
初めて吉田拓郎さんのCDを買ったのですが、若い人でも聞きやすいリメークサウンドだし、名曲揃いで入門盤としても良いと思います。誰でも一度は聴いたことがあるであろう「結婚しようよ」「旅の宿」「我が良き友よ」「夏休み」も収録されていますしオススメです。
アレンジとしては全体的にPOP調の曲が多いです。「夏休み」はちょっとアレンジがイマイチでしたが…。
とにかく買って損はしない一枚だと思います。

セルフカバーは過去に縛られているという意味では非常に後ろ向きだが、その後の創作しだいでは過去を捨て去る作用をも持ちうる。吉田拓郎は、若さという美徳に犯された表現者で、自分が年をとる事さえ許せなかったはずだ。だから歌うことを辞めた。しかし、あるとき素直に音楽を演奏する喜びに立ち返ったときに、自分が年をとることを受け入れることができるようになったのだと思う。この作品は、その証だ。
